COVID-19 TESTING UPDATE FOR PNP PATIENTS
As we continue to navigate through the changing situation of the Coronavirus pandemic, PNP is adapting our procedures to try and meet the needs of our patients in the most effective way possible. We are happy to announce that we now have the ability to do same day testing for Coronavirus in our offices.
We’ve worked hard to try to stay one step ahead of the needs of our community, and are happy to be able to provide our patients with different options for testing for acute infection with Covid-19. This same day testing is what is known as an antigen (or point of care) test, and differs slightly from the saliva PCR and nasal swab PCR tests we’ve been offering for months. Different circumstances require different tests and we would recommend you discuss your individual family’s testing needs with your pediatrician.
We realize all of this can get quite complicated. We encourage you to call our office to make an appointment if you have any questions or concerns or feel like your children need to be tested.
