Holiday Weekend Offi

Summer begins today, and so does sun safety season. โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿงข

Babies have delicate skin that can burn quickly, even after a short time outdoors. For infants younger than 6 months, keeping them in the shade and out of direct sunlight is the best way to help protect their skin.

Simple sun-safe habits can help keep babies cool and protected outdoors:

๐Ÿ‘’ Wide-brimmed hats
๐Ÿ‘• Lightweight long sleeves
๐ŸŒค๏ธ Shade-covered strollers

For babies 6 months and older, mineral-based sunscreen with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide is a good choice for uncovered areas like the face and hands.

A little extra sun protection now can help keep your babyโ€™s skin healthy all summer long.
