Dr. Rivers joined PNP in July 2012. She has previously worked at Westfield and Somerset Pediatrics as a private pediatrician and worked at the George Washington University School of Medicine as a clinical associate professor and director of the Children’s National Medical Center Primary Care Residency. Dr. Rivers completed her residency in pediatrics and adolescent medicine and additional training in emergency medicine at Children’s Hospital Boston. She received her medical degree from Yale University and a masters in public health from Harvard University School of Public Health. Dr. Rivers attended Brown University receiving a degree in biology. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. When she is not advocating for her special needs daughter, Dr. Rivers can be found baking while her husband cooks, lifting weights at the Y, dusting off her piano, or heading to the beach. When she moved to Princeton in 2010, Dr. Rivers became a 4th generation Princetonian.
