Dr. Mandelbaum joined Princeton Nassau Pediatrics in 2001, after completing his pediatric residency in New York City at New York Hospital- Cornell Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident of pediatrics. In addition to his busy clinical practice at PNP, Dr. Mandelbaum currently serves as Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at the University Medical Center of Princeton, a role he has had since 2010. In that role, he is responsible for the oversight of pediatric care at the medical center and the joint venture between the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University Medical Center at Princeton. Dr. Mandelbaum also is currently the school physician for Montgomery Township School system.
Dr. Mandelbaum received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey- Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He obtained his undergraduate bachelor’s degree in computer science at Rutgers University. He is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He grew up in Staten Island, NY and then finished high school in Manalapan, NJ.
He lives in Montgomery with his wife, two children and puppy.
