Flumist is back on the market this year but the American Academy of Pediatrics is not recommending its use because of possible ineffectiveness, so all flu vaccine at PNP will be injectable this year.
PNP is following current CDC/ACIP recommendations and we are recommending that all children 6 months and older receive an influenza vaccine this year. Children who are 6 months to 59 months old attending licensed day care centers and preschools in New Jersey must receive an annual flu shot before December 31 of each year.

We hope that you enjoy the final weeks of summer and we appreciate you trusting us with the care of your children.
